Trasmec India Expands: A New 8,000 m² Production Facility

A milestone worth celebrating in Chakan, India.

Trasmec India is entering an exciting new phase with the expansion of its production facility from 3,000 m² to 8,000 m². This important investment will strengthen our manufacturing capabilities and support the continued growth of Trasmec in India and across international markets.

The occasion was made even more special by the visit of Trasmec Group Chairman, Mr. Roberto Moroni, and CEO, Mr. Marco Scarabino, marking Marco Scarabino’s first visit to India.

During their visit, they had the opportunity to meet the local team and visit the construction site of the new production area, seeing first-hand the works currently in progress. The transformation from the existing facility to the future 8,000 m² production site is already taking shape, representing an important step forward for Trasmec India.

This expansion reflects the strong partnership between Trasmec Italy and Trasmec India, as well as our shared vision for the future. Increasing our production capacity in India allows us to strengthen our presence in the local market while continuing to support customers and projects internationally.

Strengthening Collaboration and Quality at Trasmec India

Collaboration across our global teams is essential to ensuring consistent quality and driving continuous improvement.

Recently, Carlo Valerani, Production Manager, and Nicolò D., Quality Manager, visited our Trasmec India facility to carry out quality inspections on machines currently under production and to align with the local team on mid-term operational planning.

The visit also provided an opportunity to review the production progress of a TN/TB Tubular Belt Conveyor, whose modules and components are currently being manufactured at the facility.

Working closely across our international locations allows us to maintain high manufacturing standards, share expertise, and continue delivering reliable bulk material handling solutions to customers worldwide.

Last week, our team took part in a valuable initiative at our India branch, focused on training and operational alignment.

Our Design Engineer & CAD Coordinator, worked closely with the local team to deliver training to the Technical Department on 3D CAD and Product Data Management systems, with the goal of improving efficiency and enhancing process integration.

At the same time, our Quality Manager, focused on product inspections and aligning quality control procedures, helping to ensure consistent standards across all operations.

A great opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and continue growing together as a global team. ✅🌍
